This is a brilliant machine, if you have a million and one things to do this machine is a definite time saver and stress buster. cleans perfectly, better than hand washing. I have it temporarily plumbed to my hot feed as that is obsolete and the washing machine currently hogs the cold feed. the appliance is easy to install, exactly like a washing machine. A different fitting is needed to plumb into cold feed so that I can run the washing machine and dishwasher from the same feed. (youtube has the answers on the fitting and how to) really easy.
I did a lot of research before deciding on this machine, a small machine is all I need, I have seen multiple reviews where plates do no not fit. my plates which are square and measure 10inch x 10inch (26cm) fit fine, i usually put 3 of those plates, cutlery, several cups, 2 pint glasses, a medium saucepan, a bowl or 2, and there is still room for more smaller items. If you are washing up after something like a sunday roast with several saucepans, trays and plates etc then obviously not everything would fit in one load but could fit it 2 loads. I put the big plates in the slots so the plates face downward, they always come out sparkling clean.
Longest wash takes about 2 hours max, quickest wash is 30 min.
The only cons to this machine is the drain hose is very short ( 1 metre), I have mine go directly into the sink so I am able to monitor water usage, on all cycles the maximum amount of water used only just fills a normal washing up bowl.
For me the only downside to this machine is the electricity consumption. I have a meter and the machine used 3 times a day on a 2 hour cycle (breakfast, lunch and dinner) in 4 days with 2 medium and 2 small aquariums, plus other household electricals that are always on, I used £6 electricity.
