I purchased a Hotpoint hud61xs stainless steel cooker on Black Friday, was installed 2/3weeks after delivery.
Noticed after a short while a burn mark appearing around the sides of each large ring. This wasnt dirt or a stain, if was heat marks, engineer visited, was in the house no more than a few minutes lifted up the glass lid, said basically I was misusing the cooker by using too large a pan on the job which was transferring and spreading the flame/heat? causing the burn marks. Now I’m not stupid and I don’t like to cook, so it’s not even used everyday but surely being a COOKER, it should be able to withstand heat?? Can I no longer use my frying pan or turn the heat up in fear of burning the replacement, their good will gesture replacement??? I feel absolutely enraged. Their customer service department was literally pointless,as at no time did consider their appliance to be faulty and took the word from this engineer whom in my opinion was not opened minded at all.
Would I go back to you again my answer is no. I wonder if you will show my complaint?? Let’s see
