So, I wrote an honest and true review here about Appliances Direct and it was reported. Trustpilot asked me for proof and I've sent them the proof of purchase. Obviously Appliances Direct are trying to hide something. Well more news today and my experience with the £4.49 a month warranty from Appliances Direct. Another shamble. Firstly they refused to cover my cooker, admitting its faulty whereas they wouldn't admit previously. Secondly did cover my cooker but didn't take consent to take DD from card I paid cooker with. So today morning I call the warranty guys to change card details for DD. It took an hour on the phone and still not sorted so just gave up. Long long waiting times. Stupid music. Then told they don't have details of my cover and I didn't pay. I can see the money come out my credit card on my mobile phone, thanks to the apps nowadays. Then swapped about as usual and eventually I gave up. Kept being put on hold. Hmmm..,..i wonder what happens when one needs to make a claim. So ive decided to cancel with Appliances Direct and take out Hotpoints warranty. Also im thinking of just selling my cooker altogether and be freed from Appliances Directs nightmares. I find this the best place to express my feelings as Appliances Direct (AP) just cant resolve anything. Such an unprofessional company. I am regretting every bit i bought my cooker from this company. If you had a good experience with price, delivery etc. dont be excited as when anything goes wrong, youll be in big trouble. I will always buy from Currys. Never ever again any other company. My experience with Currys is absolutely brilliant. I spoke to a chap called Josh in the warranty team who said he couldnt hear me. Then i told him i cant hear him because i could hear so much noise from his background. He rudely said , i cant help you then. Well i reminded him that this call was being recorded and also took his name. Then he fixed something and i could only hear him. Then he messed me around like im a fool. How unprofessional impolite people. AP will now reply, please call and we will try to help....which they cant. Because the company is lost.
