Bought an item for my dad for Xmas on the 15th, arrived on the 22nd before I went away on a holiday. Returns on the 4th Jan and was told it was not right for him and asked me to send it back.
I looked online and saw a returns request asking for details like the serial number etc, so iMessaged the company and had a reply and a link saying to fill out a form. I assumed it was the same one and with having no details with me, had to get the paper work from my home to fill this out. Two days later I did the form and had it rejected. Messaged the company again asking why, but never heard back from them.
Called them today explaining the reasons why it was a couple of days over their 14 day returns quota, explaining why I was returning the item and why, but was told that I can't return the item.
I realise they have their terms and conditions for reasons, but it Seems silly over two days that they would rather keep a sale rather than help someone whom might have used them again in the future. I run a business and you sometimes need to be a little relaxed in business.
I will now be telling friends and family of how unfair they are. Say I purchased the item on Black Friday for my dad at Xmas. With the 14 days I would have been screwed. How are you meant to shop at a company like this for presents when you get treated so harshly.
Will not be using them again.
