Ordered fridge for next day delivery if ordered within 2hrs 34mins, ordered, Saturday delivery premium paid for - not delivered to our tenant, no notice received until nighttime, when no customer service team available.
Contacted Monday, tenant said they arrived to take old fridge but no new one to deliver, they have a young child so refused for old fridge to be taken away, Appliance Direct agreed to deliver next Saturday, but delivery contact with me not tenant as agreed with them by telephone, Saturday fridge arrives but courier refused to take old fridge that they had defrosted 24 hours earlier, I am now still trying to contact Appliances Direct to resolve collection of old fridge. What can I say? Simply my worst purchasing experience of my lifetime-58year old, purchased and will continue to purchase many things in my life but surely in today’s world it has to be more efficient and easy than this...
The main problem with Appliances Direct is that they appear to have outsourced their customer service and delivery processes which you cannot contact easily outside of the 9:00 to 17:00 time frame which is when the delivery arrangements are made. You cannot respond to their delivery notifications which are sent outside of office hours.
Many attempts to make contact are not answered or disconnected.
Disappointed in this company and their response.
