Bought a foldable, portable electric scooter, which turned out NOT to be foldable or portable at all - the locking mechanism simply doesn't engage at all no matter how hard you try. Paid the requisite fifteen quid for next day delivery, which took four days and several emails to come into being! Immediately requested that they collect and replace the faulted item. One month later, I am still waiting for satisfaction. They finally collected it a couple of days ago, but still refuse to honour their "no quibble guarantee" despite having demanded and received my video footage of the fault and offering a £45 gift voucher if I were to just shut up and go away! Current status, no scooter, no refund, no replacement, out of pocket, drowning under paperwork to these cowboys known as APPLIANCES DIRECT and will NEVER buy from them again.
