Have Home+ and have paid for it since 2020. Sent a laptop in for repair and I thought it didn't turn on. I tripped over the cord and it fell to the floor. I couldn't see the screen was broken, which was fixed under the Home+ and the laptop was sent back to me. Upon return, the laptop keyboard didn't work, so I called and they emailed a tag to send it back. This is where the problem occurs. I received the laptop back saying, "Unauthorized Repair Attempted." I call and they say there was an attempted repair on the keyboard where there was some tape or something. I was so furious, I have forgotten what they said. But, the only people to open this laptop was THEM. They seem to insinuate that I got the machine back, opened the laptop and did something to the keyboard in a total of a couple hours. I ask, WHY would I do this if I just got done paying $100 to have it fixed and I could get any issue resolved under that. What really occurred is that THEIR initial technician broke it and tried to cover up the problem. Odd that the FIRST technician didn't find this "repair attempt" AND he replaced the screen! So he was inside the laptop and should have noticed this issue if it existed a that time. Talk about poor service. I pay for a service, send in a machine that was clearly dropped and fits the scenario for this repair. Tech 1 fixes the screen and breaks something and now the claim is denied by Tech 2. I spoke to a Supervisor named Shawn (Sean) and he didn't even consider anything other than they said, the second technician said it was me. I would have had to do it between repair #1 and repair #2, which was a max of ONE DAY. Plus, again, WHY would I do this? It makes no sense. Anyway, my claim was denied because their staff broke a $2000 laptop and didn't want to get in to trouble, so he doctored some repair and it failed. Now, I'm blamed for his lack of knowledge on the repair.
