High Deductible ,, for I Phone 15 max you have to pay $250+ deductible, your phone EMI continues and what you get is an old refurbished phone. Not worth it ,, instead take good care of your phone and don't spend your money on these worthless device protection plans

HAD PROBLEMS WITH A PRINTER AND TRIED TO GET WARRANTY REPLACEMENT. SENT ME A BLANK SHIPPING LABEL FOR PRODUCT RETURN. WHEN I CALLED BACK THEY DID NOT SENT ME A REPLACEMENT IN SPITE OF CLAIMING THEY DID. HAD TO CALL BACK REPEATEDLY. GOT HUNG UP ON AND KEPT WAITING FOR A SUPERVISOR. RIDICULOUS. ANOTHER TIME THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO HELP WITH TECH SUPPORT AND INSTEAD REFERRED ME TO THE PRODUCT MANUFACTURER.

These guys genuinely scammed and lied to me into buying asurion + for two months. I needed to get a console repaired and they told me to buy asurion + so that I could file a claim to get it fixed to save more money, since normal fixing would cost the same as buying a new console. Then after waiting 30 days to file a claim, they told me they wouldn't fix my console since it was 30 days since it broke and there was nothing they can do. I told them what I was told and they just said I misunderstood what I heard and they were sorry after I flushed 60 dollars down the drain.

Great when they don't send you a blacklisted imei phone. To me, this is incredibly unprofessional. If a company is replacing phones with refurbished or otherwise, they should be working with the carriers to remove them from blacklists before sending them out to paying customers. I pay a monthly fee for this "insurance" and they send me a locked phone for a $100 fee? Now I have to physically drive 1.5 hours to the nearest corporate store. Asinine. Can't even fix this over a phone call or chat. The upside and only reason they get 2 stars is their customer service is nice and does everything they can on their end. Apparently they aren't given enough tools to actually fix this kind of problem so I can't fault the agents, but I can blame Asurion. I will be cancelling after this and just buying a new phone that doesn't have headaches involved with it if it breaks again. Vote with your wallet peeps!

Put a claim in, then went to the specific location they told me to go to. They only had 1 inner screen for my phone. The imei number was not correct in there system, so I was told to call asurion, which is who the ubreakifix is partnered with that I was told to go to. They corrected the number, but because the screen for my repair was on the 1st work order, they acted as if it was an act of congress to get it corrected. So basically I was told I could not get my phone fixed because of am error on there part, but I could pay 275.00 to get a replacement phone. Hours and gas spent driving there, for nothing.

I replaced my Iphone 13 and payed the 99 dollar deductible at Verizon, got it super fast and all was good until a few days in and it would only charge at a certain angle; i was then having to plug it in at 50 different angles until it works. I took it back to Verizon and was told it looks like there is a piece of plastic compressed into the charging port and I'd either have to take it to a phone accessory store and pay there, or pay the 99 deductible and get a new phone because Asurion doesn't do anything for charging ports..

They happily takes your money when you buy the extended warranty but it’s like pulling teeth when you need service. POOR service. It’s regrettable buying one. DO NOT BUY ASSURION extended warranty.

Generally bad experiences. Current issue is they won’t reimburse me for one of my PS3 controllers they lost. When they do call back they leave no message. When I do get an agent I get a different answer every time.

I have a computer I bought from Costco, and I called them they took my laptop and "fixed" it. But I got it back with the same problem. So when we called they asked us to fill out a form which I did and gave my receipt but they said they need a real copy of the receipt giving me a hard time and they have done the same thing before when I called about my other device. They are a total scam trying to waste your time.

After sending me out the wrong device, I was forced to make 7 phone calls, during which I was lied to, disrespected, sent to the extension of the CEO's office, given incorrect and different reimbursement amounts, etc, and when I was finally told I would be getting reimbursed for the correct amount, despite everything they mishandled, they informed me that I i would receive a paper check in 10 DAYS! When i said i cant go 10 dats without a phone because i use it to run my business, she said to use my old device in the meantime, yes, THE BROKEN ONE that I'm trying to replace! I asked if an exception could be made given the circumstances of this claim and how much time and bs I had to endure just to get this far, but she said no and then treated me like a toddler by giving me my two options, a paper check in 10 days or nothing! Then she again suggested I use my broken phone until then! To say I was mistreated and my claim was not handled professionaly is an understatement! Use my old, broken device, that does not charge for 10 days, what great advice! Here's my advice to anyone thinking of using Asurion: Steer Clear! Unless you of course want them to waste hours and hours of your time only to get an unacceptable resolution to your device issues!

uBreakiFix sold me a Asurion Home+ insurance for all of the electronics in my house at approximately $30/mon. I paid for 3 years and finally made a claim when a pair of headphone went bad. They offered 50% of what I paid as a reimbursement, enough for a refurbished pair of the same headphones. I purchased these headphones (Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro2) and they failed within 3 months. I made another claim with Asurion and they offered me to replace the headphones with some janky off-brand headphones that retail for $24.99 new. I contacted them and told them that a second replacement cannot drop in value by over half in 3 months and requested another pair of refurbished Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro2 or comparable funds. They hung up. Both times, Asurion demanded an additional service fee for inspecting and potentially repairing the headphones. The service fee was almost the price of a new pair of headphones. I complained for a long time and eventually the fee was waived both times but they told me that the next time I make a claim it would be required. So they essentially want to double dip on the coverage and then short you on the replacement. Avoid Asurion, UBreakIFix and all their affiliates, employees, and executives at all costs.

Asurion has never sent back my 300 dollars for sending back an old phone for credit of a new phone . They took the old phone back and have yet to send me a refund credit for receiving my phone . They first said it was sent as a credit whitch I never received. Then they said the would credit my visa which never happened. This last time I tried to ge back money is that they would send me a check refund. This has be going on since March everyone blames it on a different department…. They suck and lie straight to your face .

I got an iPhone 16 pro max with ATT in December. It fell off my car in March and asurion with ATT wouldn’t replace my phone even though I had to pay for it. I wasn’t getting a free phone or a brand new one and they kept saying that I wasn’t using the insurance for its intended purpose yet they wouldn’t tell me what the intended purpose was or what I was doing wrong. It’s pretty sad that all the money I pay them and the fact that I had to pay for a replacement for a refurbished phone is sad and appalling. The phone is not repairable and yet they won’t help or replace.

I purchased a vacuum cleaner and bought the 3 year protection plan. It took 45 minutes to submit and claim and I needed help from someone who knows a lot about computers. Even they had trouble. After all the hoops and forms they declined my claim. I will NEVER EVER purchase another asurion plan. They are not easy to work with and thrre is no one to call to speak in person. Its a hoax.
