The insurance claim process was quick and easy. But contacting their support to activate the phone was a disaster! I had to go to Verizon to activate the phone. Verizon wanted me to pay $30 for them help me download my apps and photos. So Asurion told me they could assist with this. The lady on the phone told me I lost all my photos and apps! This was far from untrue. After watching a YouTube video I easily downloaded all my apps and photos from my last backup. Good thing I did not listen to them!

I did not have a good experience with Asurion insurance and will likely be cancelling our coverage. Customer service was unable to address an issue and I was forced to pay out of pocket for the repair despite a good faith effort in following the claims process.

Purchased an appliance off of Amazon for a icemaker. Some May I have been trying to get a replacement. I submitted every single piece of documentation I have for the machine and the company keeps telling me not enough information. I have called numerous of times and still gotten nowhere but ask to call back or submit more information. I go through a headache every single time. And I still have yet to get a replacement or money back with the only documentation that I have of purchase on Amazon website. A lady was supposed to stay on the line and 3 way Amazon to see what I'm missing because she couldn't even tell me what or where to even find the information. Now I'm out of almost $200 for ice machine used able to use for 3-6 months max.

Called on 8-26-25. I had to go through their 1 day waiting period. I got an email to finish my claim. After finishing it, I was supposed to get my phone the following day 8-28-25. I received no phone. Get a email saying it wasn't deliverable. Which I found out, after calling customer service again. They didn't have my phone in stock. So instead of telling me the truth, I was told a lied.. but I was told, no problem, you'll get one by tmorrow...nope! Didn't receive one. Had to call again. Got the same story but at least this time, I got a tracking number next day comes by and goes with no phone. So i track the phone, and I'm not gonna get it for 3 more days. So basically, I've been without a phone for 6 days when it was supposed to be next day mail.

Marketing team promised that every tech appl including receivers will be covered. However, when a claim was placed for a receiver, they decline saying stand alone receivers are not covered. Waste of money.

I filed a claim to repair a creacked iPhone screen; set up appointment 3 days later from 5-7 PM at my house. By 7 PM, the technician hadn't shown up and hadn't contacted me to say they were delayed or canceling. I called customer service and they offered to reschedule me - for 3 days later. And with no prompting from me the customer service rep explained what would happen if the technicican didn't show up 3 times-- which means that the technicians must no-show so frequently that customer service has to warn people up front what Asurion will do differently after their technicians fail to show up 3 times! The customer service rep was very friendly, but I bought the Asurion warranty to repair my cell if needed, not to speak with friendly CS reps or wait for hours for technicians who can't be bothered to let you know that they're not coming in the first place. I would never buy an Asurion plan again. And I'd give them zero stars if I could

Unreal process. 1) Setup a repair for Saturday morning for my son's device, small crack in the front screen that we want repaired so we can take him and upgrade his device. We carved out our morning to be at home. I receive a voicemail half way through the window stating they couldn't come. 2) I reschedule for Monday. Again we wait at home, a tech comes and tells us that there is nothing that they can do since my son had accepted the iOS beta and Asurion isn't trained in the beta. They instructed us to go to the "store", where the techs can handle this. 3) Per the tech's instructions, we go to an AT&T store and wait in line. Once it is our turn, we are told to go to a "uBreakIFix" shop. We drive another 30 minutes each way out to that shop. They tell us that they also cannot handle the iOS beta and that their techs should have never to said to go to the store. 4) We hard reset my son's phone, which is what we were told to do by the shop worker. 5) We reschedule to be home again for Asurion. The Asurion tech comes and says they still can't help us because a hard reset, doesn't remove the beta. 6) I call Asurion's techs and spend 30 minutes on the phone with them and get nowhere. I then am transferred to Apple and they help me in 2 minutes. 5) We have another tech come (4th window we sat through) and the process is completed. This was a total of hours of wait time (rescheduling to be home 3x), a total of 2 hours of driving, 30 minutes of waiting in line and 30+ minutes on the phone with Asurion. Not a single person knew wha the heck they were doing, but gave faulty instructions. This was a compete joke of a service.

Over the past week, we had to refile claims 4x due to involuntary rescheduling due to lack of stock. Initially, we filed a claim to have the phone repaired but the parts were not in stock but wasn't, then we rescheduled to have a technician perform the repair 3 days later but since the date was too far away we called to refile a claim to have the phone repaired in a store 56 miles away based on information that the parts were in stock but weren't and was informed that the phone couldn't be repaired and would have to be replaced, so we filed another claim to replace and setup the phone next day between 7-9pm est. We were informed today at 630pm that the phone couldn't be delivered and found that it was due to lack of stocking. While speaking with representative to refile another claim we were informed that it would be safer to have the phone mailed within 1-2 business days. We inquired if the at home technician service would be provided and was informed that the since the phone was mailed that the the in-home service would not be available and was only available for same or next day delivery.

The gentleman I spoke with was really kind and professional. Made sure to handle the issue I was having, expertly. My only bummer was that I wasn't able to leave a direct review right after the call.

After paying for several years, this company guaranteed to get my son's phone (which he dropped in the ocean) to him within 24 hours after paying the $249.00 deductible. I've called several times and was told "It will definitely get delivered by a certain date" and it was not. I spoke with a supervisor and now I find out it's because of UPS, weekend hours, ect. Extremely frustrating experience.

This company is a scam.Do not participate in their insurance program. You will pay for years and when you make your claim. You will get the run round for months with no resolution to your problem that you've paid for years. I made a claim after having this insurance 8 years And I got an email telling me that my phone was back ordered, I waited 3 to 5 days, call them back To be told there was a glitch in the system and my claim wasn't filed although they took my Deductible immediately out of my bank account when they said they weren't going to take it out until my replacement phone shipped. After my second call I was told I would have to wait 3 to 5 days. After my second call, I waited the 3 to 5 days with no phone again.I called they told me it would take 5 to 10 Business days and yet again, no phone. After the next call, they told me that they could not get my phone because it was obsolete and that they were going to, give me a one time courtesy and give me market value and that my check would arrive within 3 to 5 business days. After the 3 to 5 business days came and went. No, check. I called them again and they told me they'll call me the next day with a tracking number. I was upset a demanding answers, they put me hold without saying a word then hung up on me. We're waiting to see. I'm at the point where I'm going to file fraud charges against them if I don't receive a check the next day. I advise don't use them. Nobody knows what they're doing there and nobody can give you answers.

This is one of the worst companies ever! Scam is correct. I have been paying for insurance for my phones for years. I finally had to use it because I lost my phone and they kept finding a way to continue to deny my claim. I was without a phone for over a week because they kept stringing me along until I finally just went to att and bought a new phone. You will have to explain your story to someone every time you call in, no one leaves notes on your claim, they don’t inform you if they need something from you, they just deny the claim. Then after all the headache every agent you talk to tries to sell you the same BS insurance for your appliances in your home. No thank you. I hate I have to give them one star.

We started calling for repair on our washing maching in September of 2024. We had to take our laundry to the closest laundry mat 14 miles round trip from our country home to town from Septmeber 2024 to December of 2024 because their 'repair truck' broke down. Finally in December a repairman came. The tub was not spinning well enough to drain the water out even after he got it running because he only replaced two of the three shocks that needed to be replaced. In 2025 after we waited a long time to get a repairman to our home because our clothes were still too wet and we had to run our dryer an extra time and/or run the spin cycle an extra time on our washing machine causing high elctrical bills, another repairman replaced the other shock. Still the same problem existed. This repairman was much better. He replaced the computerised part of the washing machine on another trip. Still the same problem. But Assurian would never relay messages to me to tell me what they required (like pictures of serial numbers which they should have already had from previous repair visits as well as reciepts which they already had from previous visits and a form they needed which they did not imform me they needed until 30 days passed and they had to start all over again with the whole process. Once again they were asking me for pictures of serial number, receipt of purchase, etc. This continued to happen. They should ahve already ahd all of those items! I would spend hours on = the phone finding out they didn't tell me what they needed done several times and having to do thier work keeping things going myself. I was on the phone on hold for long periods of time people who didn't know what I needed to do to proceed until I would call a few time. They would say, "You need this form or this receipt again" , etc. There was poor communication between the employees at Assurian to make the process run smoothly. After many repair visits to my home that probably cost them more than if they would have replaced our machine sooner, they deemed it a lemon and almost a year later in Augiust of 2025 we received a reimbusrment check for the cost of the washing machine. We spent almost a year on extra electrical bills, phone calls on hold, wated time, repeating steps that should not be repeated, laundry mat and gas expenses related to travel for laundry mat and the horrible service of Assurion. We will no longer buy our washing machines form any company who uses this warranty service, because it's poor service. Yes, make this review public.

Huge ripoff. They didn’t respond to my calls or Verizon’s calls. They didn’t pay on the claim. Scam, fraud, theft, unethical, incompetence … all of the above. Buyer beware

I put in a claim, was charged the standard $99 and replacement phone arrived the next day. Went to Verizon for help transferring my data and the rep found that we were eligible for new phones at no cost. He called Asurion and we were told to return the replacement phone and the $99 would be reimbursed. Took it to USPS on July 28 ... the package still has not been delivered 8 days later (from upstate NY to TN). Called Asurion on August 2nd and told them the package appears to be in limbo. The rep was great and said since I had done the right thing in returning the phone and am not responsible for the mess up by USPS, she would put in for the refund, which was received today (August 5). Excellent service!

I have been paying for iPhone insurance since 2019. I called Asurion to get help with a problem. The battery met the threshold for being replaced & the charge port was clogged. The very nice lady said my only choice was to buy a new phone. For $250, she was going to give me the same phone I have. She would not put in for repair. After 40 minutes, I had to hang up (after she tried to sell me additional insurance). I then went online to submit a request. Got it immediately. Went to repair shop - constant stream of customers. Said 1-2 hours, 3 hours later, I have a (hopefully) fixed phone.

I was on call with a very nice gentleman named Jeremy from Asurion in York, PA and he was incredibly helpful and easy to talk to. He went above and beyond in helping me find and get a solution for my phone problem. I promised to answer the questionnaire at the end of the call, but it cut me off before I could leave a glowing review. I hope this reaches him and his office, his service was 11/10, absolutely top tier! Very grateful for his help and patience while repeating information whilst I was so frazzled!!
