I was told back glass on my iPhone could not be repaired and was not covered through Asurion though I have been paying for their phone insurance for many years. Finally need it, only to be told this was not covered by the policy and that my only option was to buy a new phone.

I was fooled into subscribing to monthly plan and after paying for 4 months, I accidentally dropped my iMac and screen was broken. They refused to cover it as it was “not a covered event” Very disappointing, cancelled the subscription but got robbed

Don't bother with these jerks. Everyone contracts them to avoid liability for their products. Basically if it's insured by Asurion, it's because the device is SO BAD that they expect to get sued often. Asurion is basically an ambulance chasing law firm that turned itself into something equally litigious ans equally as worthless to society. It's an absolute GARBAGE company and everyone who works for them os trash, too.

I am subscribed to Asurion Home Protect through Verizon. I submitted a claim for my 85" TV for a line that had developed from top to bottom. The line continued to growand eventually the screen quit working. On a whim, we tried to turn it again, and it did turn on, but with the now roughly 2" line on the screen. I contacted Asurion, they told me that it was determined that there was physical damage to the screen. They stated that they figured this out through the pictures because there was a big black dot that showed them there was damage to the screen. BUT... the original claim (I filed many on this TV to try to get this completed) has images showing the TV did not have that "dot" on it, thus proving that there was no physical damage to the TV and that this was all due to the malfunctioning of the television. Also, they claim that I input that there was physical damage to the TV, I never did that... In fact, I filed on my mobile devise, and it skipped sections and wouldn't even allow me to input what happened to the TV, I assume this clitch had something to do with "physical damage" being selected. I called and spoke to the customer service, and eventually talked to a Jamie, she was nice, and everyone I talked to has been nice as well, however, Jamie told me that the "dot" indicated damage and there was nothing she could do for me and that any claim going forward would be denied. I pay for this service, and Asurion should supply the service, which is not. Also, on Asurion's website, for home protect through Verizon... it states accidental damage is covered... so even if that were the case, which it is not, it should be covered and Asurion is mis-representing itself inorder to deny claims. All images are attached and I expect the claim to be processed and the TV replaced. I paid $3000 for this TV, now it can be purchased for far less money! I'm leaving Google review as well and making social media posts and supplying the recording of our conversation online.

This is an absolute horrible company. Scheduled to have my phone screen repaired between 5-7. Technician call’s at 2:40 asking to come now. I said i can not so that time. I scheduled 5-7 due to my work schedule. The technician was not happy about waiting. 2:40 was the last time i was contacted by them. Called at 6:50pm to see where he was. They said he closed out of the ticket and now i have to reschedule. I left work early thinking he was coming still. Stressed to Asurion i use my phone for work and i needed it fixed. They could care less. Supposedly got the CEO on the phone and she refused to help in any way. Only offered to reschedule and kept repeating the standard dialog they are told to read. I asked to just have a phone waiting for me at ATT and ill pick it up since you wont have a technician come out now. She refused and kept reading off her piece of paper. This is by far the worst company i have ever dealt with and buyer beware. If there are any other options for insurance i will be switching. This company is a joke and has had class action law suits against them numerous time’s since 2021 and i can see why.

Do Not Buy Asurion Coverage – Waste of Time and Money I bought a ceiling mount for a hammock on Amazon, along with Asurion protection. After about a year, it started making cracking noises. I contacted the manufacturer first, and they suggested lubrication. That didn’t help, and since their warranty had expired, I turned to Asurion for coverage. On July 31, I spoke with Scott at Asurion. He took all my information and said someone would follow up. No one did. I called back, they asked for more product info and again said they’d get back to me. Nothing. I followed up again – this time they asked for proof of purchase for the coverage. I sent it and… no response. I called again on October 1, 2025. Now they tell me I need to ship the item back to their depot for inspection. At this point, it’s clear: this process is intentionally difficult and designed to wear customers down. It feels like a money grab. I will never buy an Asurion protection plan again, and I highly recommend others avoid it as well.

I’m now having to pay off a phone that I don’t even have because Asurion Insurance refused to replace it. There Only reason was that it apparently “didn’t meet the terms and conditions” for them to insure the phone. Mind you it had gotten stolen from me the day after I purchased it. Therefore, it was supposed to already have insurance and then when I asked him what terms and conditions did it not meet they tell me “I have to read the whole pamphlet”…I had already had a police report with a case number and everything and they STILL would not replace it . BEWARE OF THEM!!

The technician was supposed to call 30 minutes prior to arriving. He didn't, and when we saw him at the gate, and went to open it, he drove off and marked the claim as completed. When I called Asurion to ask the technician to turn around, they said they couldn't have him turn around because it had been marked as completed. They now want me to start the process all over again.

The insurance claim process was quick and easy. But contacting their support to activate the phone was a disaster! I had to go to Verizon to activate the phone. Verizon wanted me to pay $30 for them help me download my apps and photos. So Asurion told me they could assist with this. The lady on the phone told me I lost all my photos and apps! This was far from untrue. After watching a YouTube video I easily downloaded all my apps and photos from my last backup. Good thing I did not listen to them!

I did not have a good experience with Asurion insurance and will likely be cancelling our coverage. Customer service was unable to address an issue and I was forced to pay out of pocket for the repair despite a good faith effort in following the claims process.

Purchased an appliance off of Amazon for a icemaker. Some May I have been trying to get a replacement. I submitted every single piece of documentation I have for the machine and the company keeps telling me not enough information. I have called numerous of times and still gotten nowhere but ask to call back or submit more information. I go through a headache every single time. And I still have yet to get a replacement or money back with the only documentation that I have of purchase on Amazon website. A lady was supposed to stay on the line and 3 way Amazon to see what I'm missing because she couldn't even tell me what or where to even find the information. Now I'm out of almost $200 for ice machine used able to use for 3-6 months max.

Called on 8-26-25. I had to go through their 1 day waiting period. I got an email to finish my claim. After finishing it, I was supposed to get my phone the following day 8-28-25. I received no phone. Get a email saying it wasn't deliverable. Which I found out, after calling customer service again. They didn't have my phone in stock. So instead of telling me the truth, I was told a lied.. but I was told, no problem, you'll get one by tmorrow...nope! Didn't receive one. Had to call again. Got the same story but at least this time, I got a tracking number next day comes by and goes with no phone. So i track the phone, and I'm not gonna get it for 3 more days. So basically, I've been without a phone for 6 days when it was supposed to be next day mail.

Marketing team promised that every tech appl including receivers will be covered. However, when a claim was placed for a receiver, they decline saying stand alone receivers are not covered. Waste of money.

I filed a claim to repair a creacked iPhone screen; set up appointment 3 days later from 5-7 PM at my house. By 7 PM, the technician hadn't shown up and hadn't contacted me to say they were delayed or canceling. I called customer service and they offered to reschedule me - for 3 days later. And with no prompting from me the customer service rep explained what would happen if the technicican didn't show up 3 times-- which means that the technicians must no-show so frequently that customer service has to warn people up front what Asurion will do differently after their technicians fail to show up 3 times! The customer service rep was very friendly, but I bought the Asurion warranty to repair my cell if needed, not to speak with friendly CS reps or wait for hours for technicians who can't be bothered to let you know that they're not coming in the first place. I would never buy an Asurion plan again. And I'd give them zero stars if I could

Unreal process. 1) Setup a repair for Saturday morning for my son's device, small crack in the front screen that we want repaired so we can take him and upgrade his device. We carved out our morning to be at home. I receive a voicemail half way through the window stating they couldn't come. 2) I reschedule for Monday. Again we wait at home, a tech comes and tells us that there is nothing that they can do since my son had accepted the iOS beta and Asurion isn't trained in the beta. They instructed us to go to the "store", where the techs can handle this. 3) Per the tech's instructions, we go to an AT&T store and wait in line. Once it is our turn, we are told to go to a "uBreakIFix" shop. We drive another 30 minutes each way out to that shop. They tell us that they also cannot handle the iOS beta and that their techs should have never to said to go to the store. 4) We hard reset my son's phone, which is what we were told to do by the shop worker. 5) We reschedule to be home again for Asurion. The Asurion tech comes and says they still can't help us because a hard reset, doesn't remove the beta. 6) I call Asurion's techs and spend 30 minutes on the phone with them and get nowhere. I then am transferred to Apple and they help me in 2 minutes. 5) We have another tech come (4th window we sat through) and the process is completed. This was a total of hours of wait time (rescheduling to be home 3x), a total of 2 hours of driving, 30 minutes of waiting in line and 30+ minutes on the phone with Asurion. Not a single person knew wha the heck they were doing, but gave faulty instructions. This was a compete joke of a service.

Over the past week, we had to refile claims 4x due to involuntary rescheduling due to lack of stock. Initially, we filed a claim to have the phone repaired but the parts were not in stock but wasn't, then we rescheduled to have a technician perform the repair 3 days later but since the date was too far away we called to refile a claim to have the phone repaired in a store 56 miles away based on information that the parts were in stock but weren't and was informed that the phone couldn't be repaired and would have to be replaced, so we filed another claim to replace and setup the phone next day between 7-9pm est. We were informed today at 630pm that the phone couldn't be delivered and found that it was due to lack of stocking. While speaking with representative to refile another claim we were informed that it would be safer to have the phone mailed within 1-2 business days. We inquired if the at home technician service would be provided and was informed that the since the phone was mailed that the the in-home service would not be available and was only available for same or next day delivery.

The gentleman I spoke with was really kind and professional. Made sure to handle the issue I was having, expertly. My only bummer was that I wasn't able to leave a direct review right after the call.

After paying for several years, this company guaranteed to get my son's phone (which he dropped in the ocean) to him within 24 hours after paying the $249.00 deductible. I've called several times and was told "It will definitely get delivered by a certain date" and it was not. I spoke with a supervisor and now I find out it's because of UPS, weekend hours, ect. Extremely frustrating experience.

This company is a scam.Do not participate in their insurance program. You will pay for years and when you make your claim. You will get the run round for months with no resolution to your problem that you've paid for years. I made a claim after having this insurance 8 years And I got an email telling me that my phone was back ordered, I waited 3 to 5 days, call them back To be told there was a glitch in the system and my claim wasn't filed although they took my Deductible immediately out of my bank account when they said they weren't going to take it out until my replacement phone shipped. After my second call I was told I would have to wait 3 to 5 days. After my second call, I waited the 3 to 5 days with no phone again.I called they told me it would take 5 to 10 Business days and yet again, no phone. After the next call, they told me that they could not get my phone because it was obsolete and that they were going to, give me a one time courtesy and give me market value and that my check would arrive within 3 to 5 business days. After the 3 to 5 business days came and went. No, check. I called them again and they told me they'll call me the next day with a tracking number. I was upset a demanding answers, they put me hold without saying a word then hung up on me. We're waiting to see. I'm at the point where I'm going to file fraud charges against them if I don't receive a check the next day. I advise don't use them. Nobody knows what they're doing there and nobody can give you answers.
