They give you phones that are years old and require 5 hours of updates. Absolute trash company.

Rip off! I paid over $1,000 in 4 years, and when I needed it.. I paid a $100 deductible to get a phone, without any choices on my part, that was 2 years old and I could have bought for $250. Tried to cancel… nope! I had to call my bank, cancel my credit card that Asurion had access to in order to get them from not charge me anymore.

Terrible! Terrible! Terrible! First appointment was cancelled because the tech got into an accident. The second appointment no one appeared. Called customer support and guess what ... THE TECH WASN'T WORKING THAT DAY! So how do you get a confirmation for said time and day? There is no one to contact to complain to. Then at the end of the call they try to sell you additional insurance, making it difficult to hang up with them. Why would I purchase additional insurance if they can't even show up for a cell phone screen repair? Ridiculous.

Terrible company. While the process to make a claim was simple, the customer service was extremely disappointing. They canceled our home appointment twice and then said there was nothing they could do to speed up the replacement process for the broken phone, even though the delay was due to the company’s own mistake. Overall, a very frustrating experience.

I would like to formally acknowledge the team’s timely responsiveness and structured support throughout the withdrawal process. From the initial inquiry to final confirmation, each step was managed with clarity, efficiency, and professionalism. Their organized coordination ensured that all requirements were communicated clearly and addressed without delay.

Their service is awful.. I got a vacuum cleaner which broke down, had to ship and send as it’s beyond repair they sent a replacement which is totally a different model and doesn’t fit on the docking station and charger.. now they make me go through the whole process again to raise another claim so they could send me the right docking station/base to fit the replacement product.

If I could leave a zero, I would! I have called these numb skulls 10 different times trying to get my daughter’s phone replaced. Each time, they said it would be there the next business day or 2 business days. This started January 23rd and it is now February 17th! Still no phone! And now they want to send a check for $300 when phones are $600+! What a worthless group of individuals! They all lie and frankly don’t give a damn about the customer!

ASSURION is a rip-off! 8 months ago I paid $180 for a phone protection plan. It broke and now they want another $99 to to fix it. That information should be right next to the sale price, up front and not in the fine print

I will never waste my time or money with Asurion ever again. They charged me my deductible and said they would send my replacement phone over a week ago. I have called back multiple times. I was told to "wait by my email" for shipping information. Now I'm being told that my claim is "still open" and I can continue my current claim or start a new one. Not helpful at all. I will never do business with them again.

DON’T waste your money on Asurion insurance for your phone. Put the extra $20 aside and use it to replace your phone if something goes wrong. Asurion is a scam and their customer service isn’t helpful! Stay away from this company!

I filed a claim with Asurion and it was handled quickly. A technician was scheduled to bring me a phone the next day between 5 and 7 pm, but could arrive as much as 2 hours earlier, so a 4-hour window. Absolutely sounds great. When I checked the status of the technician, it said he was on his way, arriving at 6:54 pm. At 6:15 I saw that he had arrived, but he hadn't. I then receive a phone call from Asurion, it rang one time then hung up. I immediately called the number and no answer. I tried texting the technician, but he wouldn't answer. Next, I received a notice that my appointment had been cancelled. Who cancelled my appointment and why? My wife called Asurion and never got a reason as to why the technician never showed up or why the appointment was cancelled. Makes it sounds like the technician arrived at my home, but nobody was there so he left. Finally, when I called, I was told the technician cancelled the appointment because I was too far away and that I wasn't eligible for next day service because of where I live. All this would have been nice to know prior to me wasting 4 hours of my time. I guess the customer's time doesn't factor into this equation. Next, I'm told they could send me a phone, and it would arrive by FedEx or UPS in a few days. I asked who is going to setup the phone for me. Asurion said they could send me a technician to get it setup. Hmm, sounds like we are right back where we started. I could probably do the setup, but I don't have the inside knowledge that a tech would. After thinking about it, I decided to have it sent to me and I will take it to an AT&T store for the setup. I pay Asurion and AT&T for a service that I'm not getting. If because of where I live, I'm not eligible for the next day service, just tell me up front. I guess it's time to start looking into a different phone carrier or different insurance company

I called 5 days ago the day my sons phone broke. The very nice man I talked to was wonderful and knowledgeable. He informed me they were very low on stock for phones Told me to call back today, so I did. The women I talked to today was not helpful at all. She literally told me the complete opposite of what the gentleman told me last week. Said I should have finished my claim the day I started it. Duhhhhh that was my plan, but the man told me to call today because they would be restocked today. The woman acted like I was making this up or something. AT&T and this insurance company has got me for the last time. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY OR AT&T. They literally rob hard working folks like us. I pay my bill every month, pay for this insurance every month. First claim in 4 years and im paying almost 300dol for a 3½ year old phone. Smh ZERO STARS. You know accidents happen, that's what insurance is for. Now I have to tell my 17 year old son that I was lied to and he's getting an old phone after we were told we could upgrade for 300dol This is not right. I am beyond disappointed with this company. Shame on them for lying. My son will now be with out a phone for over a week bc I was lied too. I could have got this 5 days ago. Smh. SPEECHLESS

Asurion is the absolute worst. After having a claim declined online, I was told to call. The rep has obviously had sales training. Spent a lot of time telling me he loved my daughter’s name. The whole call there were other people in the background screaming in another language. Very unprofessional. After providing zero help, and telling me someone else would call me the next day. He aggressively tried to sell me the whole home protection. I’m going to back to Apple insurance at my earliest chance.

They deserve less than ZERO. I bought a printer from Staples and the Asirion warranty with it! BIG MISTAKE!!! Printer worked fine for the first 4 months, then started to acting up, chewing the paper and smudges all over. We called Asurion Tech support and they did guide us through a few steps to fix the problem. All went well but after a month or so, the printer dud the same thing. I repeated what I was instructed to do before and the printer did work properly again. Few more days and the printer wasn't working, something to do with the printers heads. We decided to get a replacement and that's when the nightmare started. Six calls and we got nowhere. Almost one lost hour and more at times, wasted, either being on hold to get to speak to a customer service representative (sometimes 40 minutes), or talking to someone and wasting your breath to get no solution. The said that the warranty isn't updated. We emailed them all the documents and receipts and were promised they will update the warranty in there system and then we will be able to get a replacement. Called again to check on the case and we're told the the warranty HADN'T been updated yet!!! Hiw long it takes to update a warranty in a system??? The representative promised to call back with an updated. NEVER heard back from anyone ( no surprise there). Called again and got the same story, asked to speak to a manager and after a long wait, I got someone who promised he will help resolving the case. Wishful thinking! Same as before, long times being on hold. Then to my big surprise, got disconnect for some unseen reason. DO NOT EVER BELIEVE them when they promise to "take care of this for you " OR "don't worry, I promise I will do this for you ". Does not put in your case number in the system, when you call them. It seems like your waiting time to speak to a representative will stretch much, much, much longer!!! This company should be out if business, they suck and they're nothing, but a bunch of liars. Stay away.

After paying for insurance for three years, I filed a claim to repair my cracked phone screen. An appointment was scheduled, and I waited over an hour for the technician before calling. I was told they were “running late” and had a two-hour arrival window. Two and a half hours later, I called again and was told they were “trying to find my address.” I confirmed the address and waited—no one ever showed up. When I called back, I was suddenly told they don’t service my ZIP code, even though they had repaired another one of my phones at the same address just two months earlier. Next, they claimed they didn’t have the necessary parts and could no longer fix my phone. After being given three completely different excuses, they directed me to the so-called “Office of the CEO,” which turned out to be just another customer service line. I was then told I’d have to mail in my phone for repair, a process that takes three to five days. When I mentioned the false statements made earlier, they insisted there was no record of those conversations, despite the fact that they record all calls. After this experience, it’s clear: Asurion’s service is dishonest and a scam if you're not in a large city.

Have been paying ins on 6 devices for years…never made a single claim…within a month 2 phones were broken. Decided to make a claim on them. Second claim they wanted all kinds of documents filled out. Didn’t mind taking my money all these years but doesn’t want to honor 2 claims. Will cancel all my insurance today..Asurion is a total joke.
