Review of BJS Home Delivery Service:
I recently had an unsatisfactory experience with BJS Home Delivery. The delivery was scheduled for today, and although I received a notification at 20:04 the previous evening with a delivery window of 7:00–10:00 AM, the service failed to deliver as expected.
A call was made to my phone at 7:45 AM, but due to my phone being in focus mode (a routine setting in the mornings), I missed the call. I fully acknowledge this as my responsibility. However, I was home the entire morning, having taken a day off work specifically for the delivery. Despite this, no one knocked on my door or left any notice indicating an attempt to deliver the package.
Following the missed delivery, I contacted BJS to explain the situation, including the fact that I had taken a day off work. I asked if they could reattempt delivery later in the day and offered to cover any extra costs incurred. Unfortunately, they refused to accommodate this request, and my attempts to contact the driver went unanswered. The customer service representative advised me to reach out to them again to request a weekend delivery slot.
Overall, I am dissatisfied with the lack of flexibility and communication from both the driver and the customer service team. While I understand that my missed call contributed to the issue, I believe more effort could have been made to ensure the delivery was completed or rescheduled in a more customer-friendly manner.
