Extremely disappointed with Dior in terms of quality AND customer service as a result of the issues I had with a gift from my husband.
Sad to say, after enjoying cosmetics from this brand for years - they have lost a loyal customer.
My husband purchased the Riviera Limited Edition eyeshadow palette/ nail polish set as a thoughtful gift for my 30th birthday.
Unfortunately, the Dior nail polish is absolutely terrible quality - it lasts a day, IF that.
Meanwhile a 15 dollar nail polish from Sally Hansen from the drugstore can easily last you a week.
While Dior’s website states “our Client Advisors will be delighted to assist you” - the Client Advisor I spoke to on the phone line sounded more so as though he hoped I’d drop dead after our call. They handled the call with a tone and demeanor that was notably rude and abrasive.
When I asked “does Dior not stand by the quality of its products?” He responded “if that is what you infer.”
They essentially informed me that Dior won’t do anything. As I persisted on the matter, they did submit a request, which was denied by email a couple days later.
Oh, but they did offer me a “code on my next order to receive extra complimentary miniatures & samples.” What a joke and honestly just a slap in the face from what was one of my favourite makeup brands.
“Be assured that your comments have a great importance for DIOR for which the aim has always been the quality of its products and the satisfaction of its clients.” Well Dior, I am NOT satisfied and this response does nothing for me.
