Extremely disappointed with the service from DoorDash—this has now happened twice. The first time, the Dasher completely ignored the delivery instructions to bring the food to our suite and instead left it somewhere in the parking lot for anyone to grab—which someone did. I tried calling the Dasher back after missing their call—no response, of course.
What’s even more frustrating is dealing with DoorDash customer service. They try to make it seem like the issue is on the customer’s end—suggesting maybe the address or phone number was incorrect—when that’s clearly not the case. The real issue is hiring people who don’t take pride in their job.
Some Dashers don’t follow instructions, don’t communicate, and don’t seem to care whether the order is delivered correctly or not. Many don’t know the area and struggle with even the basics. It’s unacceptable—especially when the delivery is literally just down the street. DoorDash seriously needs to do better.
