1. I placed an order for pick up on DoorDash from Taquero Mucho in Chicago.
2. I arrived at the location provided by DoorDash for pick up. The destination address DoorDash had listed was incorrect and we could not find the restaurant. (there were 2 of us trying to find it). We arrived at the provided location 30 minutes before the restaurant closed and could not reach them.
3. I immediately live chatted with DoorDash the same night. They apologized to me and told me that they issued my refund and that it would take 5 to 7 days. This was our first customer service conversation. The issue should have been resolved here.
4. When I contacted them a few days later they said that I took too long to request the refund (which is not true) and advised I file a charge back with my bank.
5. I asked them to delete my monthly membership ONLY, and not my account history as I would have to provide proof to Capital One. Then, against my wishes, they deleted my entire account history and deleted all the evidence along with it. I filed a claim with BBB because of this.
