I ordered 12 items through DoorDash and the cost per item is $1.65 including sales tax. They charged a service fee of $3.49, and tip $5.50. The total cost is $28.76. So, the actual cost / item is $2.40.
But only 5 was purchased. They don't reduce the service fee and tip. So, I ended up paying $17.35 for only 5 items. The cost per item is now $3.47. This is way more expensive than what I'd pay elsewhere.
