A cautionary tale.... I ordered a meal from Recovery Sports Grill via DoorDash. The chicken on the Buffalo Mac 'n Cheese ($17.00) was ultra dry and inedible, so I called the restaurant. Greg, a manager, said I had to contact DoorDash, which I did. I sent pictures and said I was requesting a refund. The DD representative said they now will contact Recovery and I should be receiving my $5.00 refund in 7-12 days. I was stunned! I questioned why I would not be receiving a refund for what I paid, $17. He gave me the pat answer of 'it's our policy.' I said, 'you mean the policy of stealing money from the customer?' I asked to speak to a supervisor. He came back twice and said we have no supervisors in the call center. How convenient. I will contact my bank tomorrow to see what they can do, if anything. Regardless, I will wait 7-12 days for whatever refund and I will NEVER use any food delivery service again.
