I rented an SUV through the Uber app but was given a base car at the same price, without any explanation or price adjustment. Upon arrival, I waited in line for 15 minutes only to be told to complete registration through the app. This could have been communicated to everyone entering the location or even on the shuttle to save time and avoid unnecessary delays.
After returning the car, I realized I had left my coat inside. Despite being told they would call me if it turned up, there’s a lack of process for handling lost items. The vehicle goes directly to a detailer, and any items left behind should be promptly collected and secured. Unfortunately, it seems like belongings are simply “finders keepers” unless staff make an extra effort—something that seriously impacts customer experience.
The entire rental process was poorly handled from start to finish. Customer support has yet to follow up on my issue, reinforcing my suspicion that any requests for assistance fall into a “black hole.” If Easirent genuinely cares about addressing these problems, my contact information is available in the booking history from last Wednesday to Thursday.
To future customers: I used Easirent only as a last resort, and I regret it. If you’re considering Easirent, be prepared for subpar service and no assurance that your experience will be taken seriously.
