Watch out for the under handed ways they will charge you as they think they have the upper hand once you are in the vehicle and gone from the counter. The State is aware and watching their practices with under cover customers.

Watch out for this car rental company. I booked a car through Priceline (Priceline charged me for the booking) When I went to pick up the car from easirent they charged me again they didn't care that I had already booked a car. DO NOT RENT A CAR FROM THEM THEY ARE FRAUDSTERS.

ZERO STARS!! We had a prepaid reservation (lesson learned…) and arrived at the airport to find Easirent had no counter. I called and they told me we had to rent an Uber to go to their building 15 minutes from the airport since their shuttle stopped running almost 2 hours before they closed. It was a mess trying get there before they closed and we were too late. They wouldn’t reimburse us so I’m trying to dispute the charge with my credit card company. Absolutely horrible experience… would never recommend this company to anyone.

Showed up wth a prepaid and confirmed reservation only to be told to rent elsewhere because they were overbooked and did not have my car. Then had to fight to get my money back. Luckily my credit card co. cancelled the transaction.

BEWARE. Dishonest practices. They are all about getting extra money from you. I would give zero stars if I could. The agent flat out lied and told me it was company policy to purchase their insurance even though I had my own. She never asked me for any proof of coverage when I picked up the car. When I found out that she lied, I immediately called customer service, sent emails and spoke to a supervisor- all to be told there was nothing they could do. This company and employees are operating in a dishonest manner. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM.

I had a confirmed rental and they would not honor it. Without the added restictions they posted to the counter of a home made sign. The manger could of cared less. Can you do less than a 1 star? This is the worst rental company ever.

They scammed us. We stayed in Treasure Island for 6 days...never went more than a mile or two away from there each day. We barely put any miles on the car. It took less than $20 to fill it up when we returned it. We get a bill for toll road charges in Orlando. We were never even close to Orlando. They charged us $67 for tolls that we never incurred. They are crooks and fraudsters.

Crooks. We went to treasure Island and stayed the whole time. They charged us for using toll roads hundreds of miles away and we were never there. They falsified records and were fraudulent. Terrible.

Subject: TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE I have had a terrible experience with Easirent and it continues to haunt me because several weeks later they have yet to refund my $250.00 deposit. I rented from the Tampa,FL location on May 10th and returned the vehicle on Sunday May 12th. Customer service was terrible at this location. There was a long wait. The facility was dark and dingy and the bathroom had bugs flying around. My rental car was dirty with cigarette ash all over. We had to take the car back to get it washed. Now several weeks later Easirent still has a hold on my $250.00 which serves as a constant reminder of the terrible experience. No one answers the phone so I have to write. There was a group of people waiting outside Easirent - Tampa and we all agreed that we would NEVER rent from here again.

Can't believe this company is even in business. Went to pick up the car at the tiny facility outside Tampa airport in May 2024. Was told there was a $500 deposit that would be charged to my credit card until the car was returned. The agent at the desk demanded to see a copy of my car insurance policy, otherwise I would have to pay $44 per day for the company to insure the car. Who carries around their auto insurance policy? After 15 minutes on the phone with my insurance company, I gave up and paid the $44 a day. I asked the agent what insurance company I was now paying for, and he informed me that the company (Easirent) was self-insured. I asked him for a copy of the insurance policy, and he said he didn't have one. So, they can demand a copy of my insurance policy, but I have no idea what insurance I am buying from Easirent for $44 a day. Since we were late to an appointment, we decided to proceed anyway. Alas, the car they gave us had no gas in it (it was empty) so we had to stop to get some gas. Easirent is apparently a British company that is trying to do business in America. They are not going to last if I can help it.

This is the most unprofessional company I've ever encountered. I walked in to pick up my rental car at the scheduled time. There were 10 people ahead of me waiting for their cars. They had an old-school clipboard that they were scribbling names on. I put my name on the list and believe I was number 10. They told us to sit down and wait for my name to be called. 5 people were working there, yet none of them were doing anything. I don't blame them because they did not have any cars to rent to the people who booked reservations with them. They overbooked! And did not tell us that and had us waiting for hours. In the meantime, they were smoking cigarettes outside and one of the workers was vaping inside the creepy room that we were waiting in. This was the Houston Airport location FYI. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE HELL THAT WE WENT THROUGH AND BOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE!

They charged my credit card for insurance without quote the price to me. It is illegal and unfair to me. I requested them to refund to me and they said I agreed the no deposit option. In fact, I have told the staff I don't need insurance. But they still charged me without providing the insurance quote and the coverage of insurance to me. They just asked me to sign the agreement and did not tell me insurance was added to it. The car they provided is very poor in condition. The body has a lot of scratch and the milage used over 80,000 km. The company is very dishonest and don't rent car at Easirent.

The worst experience ever. I was stopped by the police because they gave me a car with expired license plates. Not only did they not apologize for the inconvenience, 2 of the male employees verbally harassed me and then cancelled my reservation, leaving me and my family stranded in the middle of the night. Stay away from this place.

1. It is miles from the Tampa Airport. 2. Had to wait an hour for a car. 3. Had to pay an extra $180 for car insurance and the counter, and I have no idea why, as my own car insurance company has me covered on rentals. 3. Car dirty. 4. The rental office is a dive. 5. Not enough staff.

I arrived after a long day of travel to pick up the vehicle I had reserved for a week in Florida, and they had NO VEHICLES available. The counter employees just looked at me as if it was business as usual, and they told me there was NOTHING they could do for me! Did they just expect I could walk away as if it wasn't a problem at all? It was after 9pm, I had traveled over 1,000 miles by plane, and I was completely stranded! They further said they couldn't give me a refund! I will NEVER rent from them again, and I greatly discourage anyone else taking a roll of the dice in "renting" from them. You may be left stranded too.
