Wouldn’t even give this one star if there was an alternative option - AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.
- first of all they demanded two pieces of evidence of address. This wasn’t in the terms I agreed to via Expedia but they insisted that they had to do an address check and charge me an additional amount to do it.
- they said they would put a hold of £1250 on my card in case the car got scratched. If I didn’t want that I would have to pay an extra premium.
- I booked the car from 7.30am through to 19th May but when I turned up that morning they said that the car had already gone out and if I wanted a car I would have to pay an additional premium for a bigger car. There was nothing stated in the terms about picking the car up within a certain time-frame.
Overall the staff seemed hell-bent on getting extra money from every customer - there were three other customers in whilst I was there and they all experienced the same terrible service. I seriously question the ethics and integrity of this company.
