At the end of Evri email: * The carbon footprint for delivery to a ParcelShop or locker is approximately 15-30g CO₂ per parcel versus 150-300g CO₂ per parcel for a home delivery. Based on 600 parcels over a 70km route per day. Source: BAIN Report (Primary Source: Giuffrida M., Mangiaracina R., Perego A., Tumino A., "Home Delivery vs Parcel Lockers, An economic and environmental assessment", Department of Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering, Politecnico di Milano, Milan (2016)). Thiat is impossible: If I have to go with my car on a 32 mile round trip to put a package in a locker when an Every courier could quite easily pick it up the next day... Seriously how much wool have they got? 2* because at least it's delivered in some shape or form. Carbon footprint indeed.... What utter tosh. 1 van passing and I'm wasting £7.50 on petrol and clogging up my lungs with carbon footprint. I. just cannot wait for the end when we all go back to walking! Although I might pick up a Melton Mowbray Pork Pie from Morrisons whilst I'm at it!
