I ordered an item online in two sizes as I did not know which one would fit better. I made the effort to drive into Liverpool city centre to return the unwanted size. The lady behind the counter quite rudely and abruptly explained that I cannot get a refund. She couldn’t even look at me as she was saying it, just walked away from the counter putting her back to me as she spoke.. I was quite confused with the whole situation really. Surely if I bought the same coat in different sizes it would be clear that I would want to return one.
She said I could only return it by click and collect. I could not find this selection online but only to return by Royal Mail at my own expense.
I think it’s disappointing that you don’t allow an item to be returned in store. Just doesn’t make sense for me to take the item back home, pack it for postage and then mail it back to the same place where it had just come from.. And then to charge for ruturns after already paying for delivery. All other shops I use all offer free returns.
The items you sell are of a high quality so I expect the customer service should match also.
Overall just feel disappointed with the all round service I have received..
