I enjoyed my shopping experience at flannels on the website. However, a few days after, i met up with a friend of mine and went shopping in leeds. We decided to visit the flannels shop, even though i made a purchase on the website, i wanted have a look instore. The customer service from the male on the menswear section was great. He welcomed us and asked us if we were okay.
My friend and i, went upstairs to the womens wear and we decided to lookaround. One of the ladies greeted us and asked us if we were okay. Howere there was one particular lafy who kept staring my friend and i out like we were going to steal something. Bearing in mind i had already spend over 300 pounds on the website. My friend and i were taking our time deciding what we would like to purchase. However this sort of customer aervice in the store is unacceptable. Just be because we were taking our time choosing and looking doesnt mean we are criminals and i hate it when im made to feel like this when entering a designer store. Throughout the whole shopping experience we were being stared at constantly with a stone face and followed around inconspicuously. I will be giving the store a 1. I dont tend to shop instore much as this is how your treated. In the end i did end up buying a kenzo coat which was 420 pounds. Sort your female staff out please. Just because they work in a designer store doesnt make them more important than the person purchasing. I understand youve had a lot of thefts from the store in leeds and vehicles crashing into the store to steal. But maybe as a company you should think about the security more and having shutters on the front of the store. And i noticed as soon as you walk in the menswear the most expensive merchandise gucci is on display at the front of the store. Like really??? That should be at the back of the store.
