I have a love/hate relationship with Flannels. Their clothes and shops are beautiful, they often have great offers and speedy delivery. BUT...their customer service is appalling. You cannot ring a shop directly, you must go through their customer service number, which will cost you a fortune (£40, I didn’t make that mistake twice), if you choose the free alternative of emailing them it could be at least 72 hours before they reply - if at all. The customer service staff I have spoken to sound like they can’t be bothered. I once spoke to someone in customer services who gave me a promo code for free delivery after a complaint - it didn’t work. I didn’t bother ringing the premium rate number to sort it, it was cheaper to just pay the p&p. Which is another thing, no free returns - most stores selling luxury items will give you free return postage policy, but no, not Flannels. My last delivery was dumped in a container by the courier and said it had been signed for - it hadn’t. The item was worth over £500. They are owned by Sports Direct who are also appalling in their own way, but you don’t expect this from somewhere selling high value items. There should be better forms of communication, store numbers accessible if you want to locate stock, emails replied to in a timely manner. Then Flannels can be worthy of the clothes they sell.
