I purchased the 4# bulk bag of medium dried chilies. Should last me a couple of years if I don't give a portion away. I place 8-12 under a broiler to bring out the earthly aroma. Stem and seed, 3 cups of H2o, 1 medium quartered broiled onion, 6 cloves garlic, simmer for 30-45 min. Blend to a Purie. Base used for other sauces. Other ingredients added, tomatillos, other peppers, tomatoes. Great chili,mole base. Love this product. Mike, WA. STATE.
