Those in the the 96% that rate this chili with a 5 are either the company's family, friends, and associates or they have very low tolerance for spice. More than likely, they are visitors to the southwest and bought into the advertisement and promotion. I bought several jars of the "Pure Green" hot chile. I was hesitant, thinking that it may be too hot. I opened a jar this morning and mixed a teaspoon amount in my eggs. To my dismay, I tasted no heat. I sample the product direct from the jar and was completely disappointed. I am not exaggerating, sriracha sauce is easily 3 to 4 times hotter. Even the flavor of the hatch chile was disappointing. I then opened a jar of their salsa and again, I give it a 1 star. If you are going to label a product hot or grade the flavor, please have tasters who understand chile and peppers.
