The crab was shipped quickly and was packaged in a styrofoam cooler with ice packs and 3 lb packages of crab legs. The top bag was already getting soft when the package arrived during the summer in TN. My only recommendation would to make sure the crab is not too close to the top of the container away from the ice which was on the bottom. We ate the crab and it was tender and flavorful.
