I order two skirts before Christmas, came very quickly and loved the tweed skirt, the leather skirt lining wasn't sewn well and meant the back of the skirt creased and lifted. I used to buy from Karen Millen in the past and assumed it was a very rare fault so cut the lining to release the back.
Ordered a dress for New years, a bright yellow dress with jewel details. I was sent a filthy dress which had jewels missing from its detailing. The dress very clearly had been worn and had a drink spilt down it and other unpleasant stains. I returned the dress and contacted customer services sending pictures of the stains and complained about quality control.
Re-order the dress, no problem and im refunded with no issue.
Third order, ordered a simple dress in the size I've always ordered. The dress is extremely tight and I cannot fasted the zip. The packaging and tag indicate the correct size. I check the sewn in lable ..... the dress is 3 sizes smaller that what I ordered!! In the same order I had ordered another skirt, poor quality, unfinished seams and cotton bits hanging out all over. Return both items.
I do some research and find out Karen Millen has been bought by Boohoo. The poor quality now makes sense and I won't be ordering again.
