Really disappointing.
The first time I’ve ordered online via Karen Millen and having needed to order 3 times for one product that still wasn’t right, I won’t be using them again.
I ordered some flat wedding shoes and the first size was a little small so looked into an exchange for the next size up. They don’t offer exchanges and charge you £2 for a return (when you’ve already paid £5 for delivery)
Though this was an odd system for an online offering personally but I went along with it as I really wanted the shoes.
As an added sting the initial sale price wasn’t on anymore and because I wasn’t able to exchange, I was forced into a new order which came in at the full retail
Price. This was frustrating because if you order in a shop they would honour the initial price.
My next order came without a box so the beautiful shoes were flat as a pancake and looked sorry for themselves as shoes would if they've come through the post without a shoebox.
The 3rd order came (in a box) but the delicate flower corsage on the front toes didn’t match. The materials were different and the flower didn’t stand up on one and just flopped.
I had to therefore return all 3 orders costing me £21 for the privilege of receiving not one product that was satisfactory.
The customer services didn’t want to know and provided no explanation as to why anyone would send shoes without a box or why the product was so different.
They force you into online shopping but can’t deliver on the service or quality.
Very disappointing.
Proceed with caution.
Find a retailer who doesn’t charge you for their substandard quality.
