I discovered PC Specialist when I was looking for a new more powerful desktop for image processing. I knew the basic spec of the sort of machine I wanted in terms of processor and memory but not the details of motherboard, power supplies etc. But the forum was fantastic - I created a potential pc build profile and posted on the forum for advice and within a short space of time one of the experienced independent users came back with advice and suggestions and ultimately drew up for me a complete build profile for my new machine. This gave me the confidence to order from PC Specialist and within about 10 days I received my new PC. I also really liked the way that PC Specialist kept me informed as to where they were in the processing of my order. It took 4-5 days before they started to kit out and build the machine but once started they emailed me with progress updates as it moved to the next step, and at any time I could look online to see where they were in the process. Having forked out quite a lot of money, having that visibility gave me a lot of confidence that I'd made the right decision in going with PC Specialist. As for the PC itself, I'm very happy with it, it does exactly what I wanted, so much faster than my old machine and no problems at all in getting it up and running - I spec'd it without an OS as I am running Linux. And everything looks very neat and tidy inside the case, nicely built. Would I recommend PC Specialist? It's early days, I've only had the machine about 2 weeks, but on the basis of my experience so far, absolutely.
