Being able to configure your own computer is such a bonus in this day and age, which was a high spec desktop in my case. When you search the web for a ready built computer from places like eBuyer, Scan, Currys etc, there are always one or two components different to what you actually want, meaning you have to compromise. This doesn't happen with a self-configured PC such as those that eventuate from PC Specialist, or any PC configuration company for that matter. From the time the PC was configured and booked online, it took exactly 9 days (including weekends) till delivery, which means it was inside their stated 4-7 'working' days for delivery - very impressive. The unit was well boxed with a plethora of documentation to get you up and running. Upon switching on, the PC was ready to go with no problems. A very satisfying experience all round from a company I had never heard of. However... I did deduct one star from my rating because of PC Specialist 'Price Match' policy, which is really non-existent, as it is impossible to configured a PC from another supplier to exactly match the specs from the PC you configured with PC Specialist - particularly if you use proprietary PC Specialist components like PC cases, RAM, extended warranty, etc. On my first quote, I asked for a price match, but was made to jump through hoops to try and prove a matching PC from another supplier, even though the two PC's were almost identical - but almost identical is not enough for PC Specialist. I was asked to change the specs on my 'PC Specialist' configuration to match those of the comparison PC, which meant I would end up with a PC I wasn't happy with. Then after a few days, the saved quotation that was being price matched was deleted from the PC Specialist system! So don't waste your time with price matching.
