During my trip to Cape Town, I had an accident, and the door on the assistant's side was slightly damaged. According to the insurance policy, I have purchased extra insurance through (the RentalCover) company, which covers the costs of accidents, whether minor or severe. I submitted a claim request to the insurance company (the RentalCover) and sent all the required papers and documents. They only replied that I must pay the amount needed to the insurance company. Their excuse is that they cannot communicate with the rental company because they do not know them, knowing that I have provided the bank information to the rental company. Then they said I would receive the amount after paying it to the rental company, and they will compensate me. Note that they said they sent the amount on October 5, 2022, and so far, I have not received it from the insurance company. As a customer, I will purchase insurance directly from the rental company and not from a third party on the rental website in the future.
