I originally took out Full Protection insurance with RentalCover on booking a hire for a week in Queensland, as the premium was very reasonable. Unfortunately had a minor damage accident whilst on holiday which necessitated a claim on RentalCover for the repairs. The procedure for reporting the accident and forwarding a claim online was straightforward and RentalCover required supporting documentation to substantiate my claim. They required additional documentation and information over the course of several days, but within a weekly claim had been approved and the claim settled with the money deposited into my bank account. Can't fault RentalCover at all and I have sighted negative comments from other consumers which I don't agree with. I believe that if consumers provide all the documentation and information concerned with a claim then all should be straightforward and claims paid out quickly.
