When you order with Sarah Raven it is essential that you study their terms and conditions because this is one of those rare companies that puts sticking to its T&C ahead of customer satisfaction. And I mean really study them….
You also need to be aware that on the basis of my and my wife’s seperate experiences, SR do not deign to communicate with customers. If there’s a delay in your order you are expected to find this out yourself. If you think phoning them is an answer be careful: maybe my experience isn’t typical but they tell fibs and then claim they don’t keep records of calls and you should have e-mailed.
The odd thing is that they should treat gardeners this way. Gardeners. Let me put it this way: I get consistently better customer service from a giant mail order group with links to a South American river than from this unfriendly group.
The plants? Oh, they can be very good, but I’ d rather buy them from nicer people.
