We saw this company at their stand at the Grand Designs Live show in London. We picked out a couple of items we liked and after let the staff know we would be interested in buying. The made a bill, we paid it and they told us we would receive new furniture within a couple of weeks max. 10 days went by and there was no contact, I wrote and email to customer service and phoned their head office to find out what was happening. We were then told that the furniture would take another 4 weeks to arrive into the UK. Additionally, were told the girls at the show did not have the expertise to tell us this when we were paying and also informed their could be no refund. After advising them that under UK law, we were obliged a refund, they proceeded to say we could have next day delivery. Now we all know that they would be sending the exhibition or ex display furniture.
In lieu of this I sent them an email and said I would wait the 4 weeks as long as they discount the £29 delivery - bear in mind that we bought 2 lamps and 2 side tables for a cool £750. They refused and low and behold the next day I was delivered the ex display furniture.
Now what do I do???
Absolutely awful company. Avoid at all costs.
