booked a holiday and flight from the UK to Fuertoventura. 5 days after booking and paying i received an email saying the flights had not been booked and oferring alternative flights with a different airline. This would mean losing almost 2 days from the 10 day holiday.
I checked online and the original RYANAIR flight was still available.
I ended up booking the same original flight myself. I should have booked the hotel myself also.
Once you've paid for the holiday and arrive there is zero contact from Thomas Cook. They just nook the hotel (and flights sometimes) and you are left to it. This is ok for me as I research everything but would not advised using them if you need more hand holding.
In essence just book your flights and hotels yourself. I could have saved £340.00 by doing this.
