The new ticket system is ridiculous. I would give it 0 starts if I could. Ticketmaster was used this past week for a local dance recital in Ontario. One family member purchased the tickets and tried to transfer them to 4 devices so that we could arrive independently. We could access the transfer, but not the actual tickets with the changing bar code. Screenshots are no longer useful and you can't print anything. This is unbelievable. What if your phone dies or there is a power outage (as happened to us on the same day). There has to be a hard copy backup. Many had the same issue. For seniors (our parents) this was a nightmare and not everyone has a device. This is a serious problem. We couldn't access the tickets at all, couldn't print them either and when we got to the show, the customer service desk at the theatre appeared overwhelmed and had nothing to offer. Concerned about the fact that we couldn't access the ticket (and we had had a power outage all afternoon preventing us from trouble shooting in advance), we brought a print out of our ticket order number (as advised on the ticketmaster website). This did not work. We stood there for 15min until security took pity on us and believed that our tickets were legit. My parents (in their 80's) did not need this kind of hassle. Worse experience ever with tickets. Boo!
