I have been using UberEats for years now. Tonight I ordered on UberEats and received the completely wrong order. I thought there would be no issue getting a refund, but I did not realize how terrible their customer service is now. Their chat line through their app is useless because you can’t even get through to a person. There also is no option to call anymore either if you’re a customer. A chat bot instructed me to take a picture of my receipt along with the food that clearly didn’t match the receipt if you actually looked and compared it all with the receipt. It took over an hour for an actual “person” to reply to the chat and the person said I somehow wasn’t eligible for any amount of refund, but wouldn’t state why. I tried to reach out even on social media where I was told the same thing. I will have to take this up with my bank now and will be sure to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I will also leave any review I can to warn everyone else about their absolute joke of customer service and that they do not care about their customers at all.
