After 22 minutes on a call with customer service I can accurately assess that there is no room for process improvement ideas in that company. My package I had overnight shipping and the shipping times kept getting changed. Not a big deal because it was the same day. I worried that they would deliver the 30 minutes I wouldn’t be home so I updated to no signature required. There was no alert or pop-up that making this change would DELAY the delivery an entire day. I paid for overnight shipping because I needed it by that date. Now it’s getting delivered tomorrow and requiring a signature is back on. Moving my schedule around a second day is not an option. The solution they offered me was to call the company that I purchased the item from and see if they could fix it. Say what?! My item is still on the truck and less than a mile from my house and the business I bought the item from can fix UPS processes? If there’s any way to not have UPS deliver to my home again I’d be all over it.
