The rotating brush head soon gets snarled up especially with hair meaning the cheap plastic bearings soon get tangled too. This means the bearing melts and fuses together. You have to watch it like a hawk. The brush component is supposed to come out for cleaning but won’t budge even after cleaning the head without removing the brush. A tricky job. This is not a solid bit of kit. Do not use as your main vac. It might be good for a light vac upstairs, nothing more.
