After explaining to a friendly assistant about a problem I've had with some glasses that i had to take back to the opticians in town who did my previous eye test as they were almost the same as my previous prescription and i was struggling to see properly , she advised i obtain the prescriptions so they could compare their findings with theirs .
An appointment was arranged and nothing else was said.
I attended the appointment and had the usual eye tests carried out by a professional assistant .
I was then called by the optician and had a quick chat explaining the problem that i had.
The optician was vert professional and went on to say that she could carry out a further test but if the prescription was the same as the other one there would be a charge !
I was very surprised , why was this not explained to be prior to the assistant arranging the appointment ?
I left without having the test done and had wasted my time as well as the busy opticians.
I shall not be going back to Vision Express !
Im sure the staff must have training and are advised about what they should pass on to customers!
