Over the past month or so I have had lots of dealings with Vision Express and each one has left me feeling that they are not the company they were. The first issue was after my eye test I was told it would cost over £400 to put new lenses in my existing frames but a new pair would only cost £200!!!! How can a company justify that when we’re all supposed to be re-purposing instead of buying new?
Second issue was that I wanted to change the date of my direct debit for my subscription ( due to salary pay date change) and was told that it was impossible to do, even though every other company I contacted did it very easily. The third issue was when I rang them to chase up my contact lens delivery to be told that it hadn’t been delivered as the box had been damaged and returned to them by the delivery company. Vision Express however didn’t think that they needed to send out a replacement!! The person I spoke to was very nonchalant about the missing delivery and couldn’t really understand my questioning when I was going to revive my lenses. I’m really unhappy with the level of service on all 3 occasions.
