RODENT damaged book sold as VERY GOOD CONDITION!!!
I am a book dealer with over 30 years experience so I am very aware of book condition ratings.
I ordered a book that was described as "VERY GOOD CONDITION" and was APPALLED when I was sent a book with RODENT damage on the bottom left of the front cover that went through at least the first ten pages. What kind of a business sends out books with clear and obvious RODENT damage?
Absolutely DISGUSTING!!!
Since when does a book with RODENT damage constitute VERY GOOD CONDITION?
Any reputable dealer will state the damage and offer it as POOR condition.
So what happened when I complained and sent an image of the damage - someone with the name Analise offered a replacement - well that says it all!
