“I certainly got some quick replies to my request for a wing mirror. Some by phone and some e mail. I was expecting the price to be competitive but most were quoting more than the cost of a genuine spare part. I have not yet received the item but with a bit of haggling I got it down to a reasonable cost.”

“After hunting around for days looking for the part I wanted, I came across 247Spares and found it within a very short amount of time, I filled out the request form & had a bunch of texts and emails with quotes, within minutes. Should have used 247 in the first place”

“The service is excellent, immediate and intense. However, after about 40 emails a few texts and 23 phone calls it was just a bit overwhelming. Especially as I was researching to find out approximately how much it would cost me IF the problem was an alternator. Also I had thought the site said that by clicking that button it would mean I would not be phoned by sales people. 23 phone calls in a two hour period is ridiculous; an email would suffice. There needs to be an opt out of phone contact that the breakers yards can see button”

“I submitted my car's registration, and the items I was seeking. I received numerous responses, mainly for pre-used items, but with a couple of new items (aftermarket) listed. My car was registered in 1998, and was sitting in a garage workshop, which had been unable to locate a new unit (aftermarket or otherwise). I was able to pass on the details to them, of a new aftermarket item (with a 1 year warranty), designed for my specific car model. The garage cross checked the details and, on receiving confirmation, promptly ordered the correct part from the supplier. Item received the following day. Well pleased.”
