“The idea is good, and the suppliers come back quickly. However 1. It seems to be confusing if you request more than 1 quantity of something. The quote comes in, but isn't obvious what quantity it's for. 2. Unsure if this is 247spares or the suppliers, but notes don't appear to read. As I stated exactly what I wanted in the notes (from the MK of the car, to the colour, including the quantity) Yet I was contacted either being quoted for the wrong thing, the wrong quantity, or asking me to confirm what I wanted.”

“Got 4 quotes for replacement 12 year old leaking and corroded radiator for £45 to £108. Was told item would arrive in about 3 working day. Was getting worried on third day as the purchase did not appear as a recent transaction on credit card and was about to ring when the supplier rang to say that they were unable to supply the radiator as after checking their stock of used items all had leaks! I checked the various on line car parts suppliers and found a new item for £55 and the local branch had one in stock so picked it up later the same day and it appears identical to the original.”

“I ordered a nearside headlamp unit from A & C Auto Salvage the unit arrived but the bottom of the headlamp was covered in a green mould that cannot be removed. I haven't called them to replace the unit as I have noticed that my original call was charged at a premium rate, so a 5 minute call cost me £3 .76. So by the time I pay the costs to phone the company and pay for the cost to return the headlamp I would have finished up paying half again the cost of the headlamp. How a company could send the said headlamp out in such a poor condition is beyond me and why are they charging premium rate for calls. I suggest you check the status of this company, I certainly wont use them again”
