"I decided to bite the bullet and by a good quality bike carrier for our 2 e-bikes and after looking at several this was what I needed, 1 it slides into the tow hitch not on the ball, it\u2019s extremely easy to put in and tighten up and it also can be locked as well to to tow hitch, I must say I\u2019ve never came across this slide in for the hitch before. Slide it in and then turn the rear fitting up tight and then lock if you want, \r\nThe bikes holder is very easy to use as well just lift bikes on and push the front wheel lock down and put the strap across the back wheel and your ready to go you can also lock the bikes as well with a cable that\u2019s slides out. \r\nI made my own light bar bracket for it just to put an exhilarate numberplate holder on it To keep the police happy lol. "

"I had 3 selection criteria for front panniers for a recent trek;\r\n1) strong enough to withstand the rigours of long distances on dirt\r\n2) waterproof \r\n3) secured mounting system \r\n\r\nWhilst these panniers appeared to suitable hanging on the shop wall I think my choice was made based on Ortlieb\u2019s reputation.\r\n\r\nI couldn\u2019t have been happier. The weather through everything at me and the trail was rougher than expected. Yet after 2 weeks not a drop of water entered. \r\n\r\nFully loaded on rough terrain places considerable stress on the mounting brackets and particularly the fabric around where they attach. Again, 2 weeks of this punishment and no sign of damage. \r\n\r\nThe only difference between the gravel and slightly cheaper sport version is the gravel version has a double clip on the bottom which holds more securely on rough terrain, it proved the right decision.\r\n\r\nI paired these with the larger Ortlieb back roller classic on the rear and the whole setup worked like a dream.\r\n\r\nAlways nice when a product works as well as the marketing hype \ud83d\ude01"

"There are any number of rear pannier racks on the market. Surprisingly, in planning a recent bike packing trek, front rack options are hard to come by.\r\n\r\nI eventually found the Blackburn front rack in my long search and am extremely pleased with my purchase. They properly and securely supported my panniers. My trip involved nearly 300 km of dirt track plus many more on less than ideal blacktop. The rack stay securely fixed in place and the design prevented the panniers flopping about or coming into contact with the wheel. \r\n\r\nMy one criticism is in Blackburn\u2019s fitting instructions. \r\n"
