“Ordered a refurbished 9barista, international delivery was quick and painless. Brewer looked so pristine if you told me it was brand new I would never have doubted it. Obviously a fair bit of learning curve especially for those who have never brewed manually, but I've been homebrewing on all sorts of devices now so it wasn't too hard to adapt my current espresso grind settings to match the 9barista. I was coming up from a 51mm portafilter, so I adjusted my grind just a touch finer than usual and dialed in subsequent shots from there. Got a great shot on my first brew, subsequent shots have been just as delicious! This is definitely a one-person brewer, but since I'm the only one in my house with a specialty coffee addiction that works fine. Not great if you want to brew a few shots for friends. Also, you'll need a decent burr grinder to get the best results. So do factor that into your purchase consideration.”

Fortunately these more consumable spare parts are quite inexpensive, the website is very easy to navigate to identify what you need, and shipping was very quick. Upon replacing the seal and doing a deep descale, my unit is performing as well as it did on the first day I bought it, and I have no doubt it'll last a lifetime.”
