Took over a week, and a chase letter, to eventually be told the item was out of stock. No appology or explanation By that time all alternatives in the sale were gone. Why it takes so long to do a stock check at the warehouse is beyond me. Having been given a delivery date at the time of order you would have at least expect someone to notice the order had not progresed after it was supposed to be wih the customer.

Horrible company to deal with. Ordered online. Received a pair of shoes that were terrible stinky vinyl. Badly made. Gobs of glue everywhere. Requested a refund. Was told to return the shoes but to be aware the shipping fees would cost more than the shoes. Was offered a discount to keep the shoes and partial refund was promised. Months later... no refund. They won't respond to my emails. Lost my money and threw the shoes in the garbage. DO NOT buy from this company!!

Looking at their description on providing superior shoes etc are all but a scam. Their products are of super inferior quality and the customer service is horrendous and pathetic. Luckily they do not have a reviews page but I think they took it down because they would have gotten 0 star. Rubbish brand. This will be my first and last time buying from this brand. Too bad there is no zero star.

What a scam! The shoes I got look nothing like the advertisement. A bunch of cheap material with no support. The customer service is so bad. They will not give me my money back and think I'm going to mail these to china. Never do business with these crooks!

My problem is with clarksnice these are nothing but poor knockoff's from china! The leather is vinyl and it stinks! There is nothing orthopedic about these shoes, and it appears that getting a refund will cost me more than the shoes because I need to return them to china!!!! Really! Do not fall for this scam!!!!!

Despicable company; I returned a pair of unworn shoes to Clarks, received by them on 11 Nov., for refund. They have REFUSED to date to award the refund they owe, contravening consumer law. They failed to reply to dozens of e mails, sent over several weeks only responding when I left a bad review. They REFUSED to process a formal complaint, contravening good practise and potentially consumer law. I raised a dispute with my bank, and Clarks now REFUSE to process the formal complaint AND REFUSE to award the refund they have owed me since 11 Novemeber. I have complained to consumer agencies as well as raising a dispute. Customers should not have to do all this to get refunds owed. DO NOT USE this company; I will never use them again.

Dear Sir/Madam, I am deeply sorry to inform you that my warranty for a pair of sandals from your company was not valid after 15 days after the purchase and only 3 times when I used them. I live in Romania and I purchased them from a local mall. After 3 days, the leather started coming off without any reason. When I sent them to the technical department to be inspected, they gave me an absolutely incredible answer: involuntary accident of both feet, inappropriate usage of the sandals. I am inclined to believe that they have no qualification in this field and they misrepresent you overseas. I will go to the next level of officials locally, but I just wanted to draw your attention to a fact which might affect the good reputation of your company worldwide. I doubt that your experts would find such a solution to solve this problem. It is outrageous and I think it is my responsability to share with you how non professionals are discrediting your name. Yours faithfully, Carmen Sardarescu

Pathetic service Bought school shoes for my son in Feb 19 from Crawley mall store, my son was not entirely happy with the shoes but the fitter said that the shoes were fitting perfectly and if we had any problems Clarkes have 4 months fitting warranty. My son stopped wearing the shoes within 2 months as they are tight and when I went to Clarke's they said there was no 4 months warranty, the girl gave me wrong information. Also, to prove that the shoes are tight I need to make my son put on the shoes for a week and if there are blisters then they will know that the shoes are tight!! How sick is that!!!

Unfortunately this company has gone downhill in recent years and we will no longer shop at Clarks. Bought my son some school shoes in September after having him properly measured by October the soles had fallen off the shoe. Returned to store and was given a replacement pair. These lasted another 4 weeks and in November the sole came away. My mistake at this point was not requesting a full refund and taking my business elsewhere. The pair we were given in November lasted until May when the sole fell apart. This was the most expensive model in the kids range at a cost of £55. Returned the the metro centre, Gateshead store and was told by the very rude and unprofessional assistant manager that as the shoes were 6 months old this was fair wear and tear and refused to refund. This is unlawful as clearly states in Consumer rights act 2015 that goods should be of a satisfactory quality. Clark’s are clearly scrimping on quality to maximize profit and judging by the other very low reviews clearly have poor customer service as well. They think that it is acceptable that their top end kids shoes only last 6 months before wearing out. What a poor standard they must have. I could take them to the small claims court but it is not worth it for the small amount involved, they clearly know this hence why they operate a company policy which is in contravention of statuatory rights. A small minded corrupt company, your short sightedness has cost you hundreds of pounds as none of my family and friends will ever shop with you again.

3 pairs of school shoes have had problems with the soles. Paid for a repair 3 times, costing £45. Clarks policy is they are not interested if the shoe is 4 months old or the child's foot has grown. We were not looking to be given free shoes but perhaps a £10 token towards our next purchase. Nothing. Dismissed by both shop and customer care. Shoe Repairer also said Clark's shoes are not as good as Marks and Spencer.
