Does not deserve one star but have to use it to write the review........... Suite arrived April 2018 had a tear in the leather which was fixed, by January 2019 the recliner on the 3 seater would not work was told needed complete new mechanism and it would take 12 weeks for it to be delivered, waited 16 weeks for this to arrive only to be told the wrong one had been sent and I would have to wait another 12 weeks............ rang customer services to make a complaint was told by the agent (who wasn’t interested whatsoever) I could not make a complaint until the suite had been repaired🤔🤔🤔. So by the time the new mechanism arrives I will have been unable to use one half of my settee for over 12 months. Take my advice do NOT buy anything from Harvey’s shoddy workmanship and poor uninterested customer service. On a positive note the engineer who came was most apologetic even though it was no fault of his, perhaps the customer service agent should take a leaf out of his book.

Do not shop at Harvey’s- I repeat DO NOT! This is the most unprofessional shop I have ever purchased a sofa from. I’ve had no communication from Harvey’s and sofa is already nearly 4 weeks late, called many times with the reply being “we have no idea what’s wrong” spoke to a manager and was promised he would call back the next day... still waiting 3 weeks later. Was offered compensation of £50 to spend in store(why would I want to do that?) called customer services and was offered £59 apparently 1% for every week that it’s late as a good will gesture- a good will gesture is not getting something back that your entitled to anyway. Again DO NOT shop at Harvey’s

Ordered a sofa and chair, was given a 10 week time frame it actually came in 13 weeks. Sofa came today and although i can’t complain about that, the men that delivered the sofa have left oily footprints on my carpets!!! Just complained to Harvey’s and they offered me £50 compensation. That’s not going to replace 3 carpets! Fuming. Def would not recommend

12 weeks and still no delivery, been arranged twice and cancelled by the delivery company ??? Harvey's say they can't contact DHL , how do you run your business????

I ordered two leather sofas in early January, but never did get to take delivery. I was given dates in April, but the furniture never arrived and I heard various stories as to why. The store seemed to do their best, customer services seemed to try hard to help, but the facts remained that I had no furniture! Lots of different stories and finally I asked for a full refund, which took a while but I eventually received. Such a shame. Nice looking furniture, too.

Not even worth 1 star ordered suite and a chair in January was told 6 to 8 weeks delivery still waiting . Staff not helpful at all . Rang to cancel order took over 48 hours before someone rang to say it would be another 24 hours before we got our deposit back and it wasn't the full amount as they took the price of 2 sprays off which they had given us for free Harvey's you are a joke

Do not buy anything from Harvey's they are not fit to sell anything bought to chairs 15 months ago both chairs are starting to RIP when we bought the chairs we were sold insurance which wasn't worth the paper it was printed on and it cost us over£80 will never go near harveys again

I had a good experience with the staffing store. Sadly it's gone downhill since. Delivery has been a nightmare, the sofa was not going to be within the time allotted until I phoned and complained and then it arrived early. The sofa was water damaged so I refused it. The unfeeling girl in customer services said i could cancel, or wait a further 5 weeks. I have no sofa and an empty lounge. Great, and theyve had full payment.

We ordered our sofa from Harvey's on 5th August 2018 and we are still awaiting delivery 9 months later. We have been lied to and let down over and over and over again. We were told the wait was 9 weeks not 9 months. When we asked last when we could expect our sofa we were told it would be up to a years wait.

Wow.! Sorry to read all these unpleasant experiences....God must work in mysterious ways...tried to buy dining table and 6 chairs and a mirror..bafoon HAZ in Birmingham branch couldn't get to input it into computer for upto 1 hr..asked us to come back later or next day..came back same day then again had issues again with computer..waiting for almost 1 hour..failed. called colleague with attitude..failed..wasted an hour and half not able to purchase. Went home disappointed but having looked into reviews...boy do we feel relieved on missing out on dealing with such an appalling company....LOOK THE OTHER WAY when you see their store.

Wish I had read reviews before purchasing. Ordered two relaxers and two 2 seater sofas. Relaxers arrived flat packed. Put together ok but faulty stitching on the stools. Look dreadful. Also creases on front of seats where they were packed and delivered. Complained to store who were arranging replacements. 28 days later after phone calls and emails to customer services who don’t respond cancelled the order. Now trying to get refund. Out of the blue two stool bases delivered. Why? Who knows didn’t ask for or mention there was an issue with bases of stools! Delivery day of sofas. Baited breath all would be well. No! One sofa had a tear on the arm, the other sofa had an obviously different colour foot to the others. Rejected the order and put back on lorry. Now starting another process of getting a refund. Plan to call Salisbury store every day based on other reviews. DO NOT BUY FROM this company they are shocking. Quick to take your money but cannot come up with the goods.

After 9 weeks of hassle at the Bradford store I heard from the manager the settee I had chosen was discontinued. I believe I had been waiting for a sofa that did not exist. I decided to order a sofa from Dunelm. This was delivered 6 days after ordering. I wish I had never entered Harvey’s store and I sincerely hope I never get myself into such a mess ever again.

Harvey’s was very quick in taking payment and mentioned delivery would take up to 12 weeks. Made the remaining payment 2 weeks ago and was promised a delivery date on the 7th of May. This is where the problems began- Got a call in the morning by the delivery company they do not have the 1 seater (no reason specified) and was told by them to contact the customer centre to request an update about it. Contacted the customer centre and was told they have requested an update from the warehouse team and that I should hear back within 72 hours about the next steps. I requested to speak to a manager about issuing a refund however my request was denied as the call centre agent specified that it was too early in the process to escalate As a PAYING CUSTOMER I WAS DENIED DELIVERY OF MY GOODS THAT I PAID FOR WELL IN ADVANCE and DENIED SPEAKING TO A MANAGER AND WAS TOLD TO WAIT FOR 72 HOURS FOR AN UPDATE This is completely unacceptable! This is no way to treat a customer who has given time ( more than 3 months) and money I WILL NEVER EVER BE USING HARVEYS AGAIN IN THE FUTURE!!!!!!!!

I bought two leather sofa recliners from Harvey's in Decenber 2015. After about two years both sofas showed signs of the colour coming out of them. I eventually got in touch with them (at the time my husband was very ill) and it was nearly three years. I contacted Guardsman and they said the leather was peeling and referred me back to Harvey's who then told me they couldnt do anything until I got an independant report which cost me 48 pounds. When I forwarded report which said it was wear and tear (after three years) use is ridiculous. There was no abuse because only my husband and myself used it. Harvey's said because there was no manufacturing fault they refered me to the Furniture Ombudsman who agreed with Harveys and that the onus was on me to prove liability. I think Harvey's leather furniture should have a sign on it in showroom saying THIS FURNITURE SHOULD NOT BE SAT ON IT CAUSES LEATHER COLOUR TO COME OFF. They are disgraceful I wish I had read the reviews before paying any money to them. If I could have given no stars I would. I will never set foot in any of their showrooms again and I will be warning family and friends as well.

Spent £2500 on two leather recliner sofas. There was hardly any padding in the 3 seater so replaced the sofa. The second sofa is just the same. Sink right into when sitting down no padding in the back or in the arms. I am waiting for a phone call from the repair company to come out and examine it. It's been a nightmare since the day we bought them. Should have kept the old one. Please please don't waste your money on this cheap nasty rubbish.

Absolutely disgraceful service long sort short we ordered our sofas in January and we still have not received them . (Was meant to be a 7week wait). 2 failed delivery’s one stock issue and the other they lost our sofa in the warehouse ! Absolute bull! We requested a refund on 19th and still waiting for our money . I phoned the store yesterday and they told me I would receive the money yesterday or today which neither I had ! I phoned today and they told me They wouldn’t start processing my order until Tuesday ! 1. They have breeched their contract on delivering and 2. breaching their contract on refunding me . They astonishly processed my refund whilst being on the phone after me saying to them ‘Now you listen to me you have had my money in Your bank account making interest on my money and I have not revived my sofa or my refund so this is what you are going to do , your going to refund me money back right now and I shall be calling you back in half an hour . If I have not received it in this time I shall be going to trading standards and the papers’ . Disgraceful company ! AVOID AVOID

They are just big liars. I think we all should take a leagal action against Harvey's furniture. They do not show any respect to customers and only make excuses and not taking responsibility. I did buy 4 sofas from them. The leather sofas show several gabs. The fabric sofa have similar issues. I have been struggling with Harvey's for more than 3 months. They just give me excuses. I contacted Guardsman as I have bough a care plan. Guardsman reply to me saying that the sofas structure has failed and that this is a manufacturer issue. The lady on the phone from guardsman insurance company said to me that Harvey's are aware of this and they know about this manufacturer error. I email guardsman message to Harvey's and never get a reply from them. When I called them (after waiting one hour on the phone) the rude man on the phone ask me to send email. I did send email however they are still not responding. I will never buy any thing from Harvey's. They are the worst.

Disgusting company. Ordered a 4-piece sofa set back in December and was told to expect delivery in 10 weeks. That never happened, and they currently have no idea where the products are. 3 failed delivery attempts so far in the past month alone, where Harveys contact you to arrange a delivery date and time, then nothing ever turns up. You also receive no contact from Harveys as to why. BE AWARE that Harveys have a partnership with DHL, who handle most of the deliveries. Communication between DHL and Harveys is non-existent, which means you'll always be waiting for one company to contact the other.
