Why does the inside base of my Gourmet range of saucepans have grey mottled spots on it. I’ve tried many ways to remove it but it always comes back once that have dried. They are only three years old.

my pan lids got very hot, theses were replaced but still having the same problem, they get dangerously hot!!!
