Be careful, that ‘treasure’ you think you’ve found may not be what it seems. I was in the market for a rug and noticed TKMaxx had a beautiful Afghan rug for sale at £400 off the full price of £900. I placed the order and was looking forward to receiving my treasure. However, what I was sent was a completely different rug - different colour and an inferior pattern. I was absolutely gutted. I emailed Customer Services and they advised the rug I actually ordered was out of stock. Not sure why it was still listed for sale though. They advised I return the rug to my nearest store for a refund. The really annoying thing is that I paid for the rug using an e-Giftcard, as my employer has a scheme offering a modest discount at various high street stores. And of course the refund will go back to the original payment method only. That means I’m left with a high value gift card that I can only spend at TKMaxx - on items that may not be as advertised and may or may not be in stock. All I can do now is somehow try and take this ugly large and heavy rug back to my local store for the refund. I wish I hadn’t shopped at TKMaxx. All they had to do was supply what was advertised, and they failed! It turned into a hassle and inconvenience. To be fair, ‘Harmony’ the Customer Services advisor did reply to my emails quickly. Bottom line: proceed with caution when buying at TKMaxx, especially on big ticket items. I’ll be shopping elsewhere next time…after I’ve finished wasting £s on the Giftcard…

Awful customer service. Asked a young girl where fitness was as I was after a black zip up hoodie. She really wasn't interested in helping me just pointed and said over there. The guy at the till was even worse. Literally not interested and not a clue about making it a pleasant shopping experience so I would want to return. I was nicer and more chatty than him. No thank you or goodbye

I love the idea and the search for great products in TKMaxx but some of theur stuff is very very poor quality and sometimes you don't see that until you try it on. We have bought a lot of great stuff there but recently we bought something that turned out to be so badly made that it would not go around a baby's arms, legs or nappy. We hadn't kept the receipt but all the tags were still on showing price and everything. TKMaxx have refused to even give a credit note. They simply don't care. I cannot even donate this to charity it is that bad. I am shocked that even as a loyal customer who has done ALL her family's shopping there, they are happy to trick me out of money for dodgy stuff. Won't be going there again.

Phone cases very good, however tkmaxx never sell iPhone 11 cases in store

For the Second Time I have had cause to complain to Customer Services. The first time (2015) I was treated with respect and in fact they were what I would consider to be more than fair with the way in which they managed the problem. however, I cannot say the same about this problem. I order two items for my Grandsons birthday four days before going on holiday. I spoke to Customer Services as I had not had confirmation that it had arrived in store the day before leaving for India. I was assured by customer services not to worry as the "return date" to warehouse would in fact be only one day prior to my return from holidays, but to be on the safe side once I'd received the email to say it had been delivered to store I should ring them again and they would contact the store and ask that the items are held for a further five days (making 15th November) so that I had time to go and collect. I telephone the store on 12th to say I'd be collecting that day but was advised that the order was not there - long story short the items had been placed on the shelves because apparently the manager had received an email to say I had been given a refund as I'd changed my mind!!! I asked for a copy of this email during my second conversation with the manager as Customer Services assured me they had sent no such email. I was told by the Manager due to Data Protection she could not send me a copy of the email but maybe Customer Services could - they deny having sent an email and have said that although the are sorry about the situation there is nothing they can do - I do not believe for one minute that there was any such email - maybe somebody liked the items I had ordered and decided to keep them for themselves? I had to ask where my refund was then and received an email to say it could take 10 days!!! What a nerve - no appropriate apology I just think they are so "big" now they don't care - no more shopping on line at TKMaxx for me - maybe not more TKMaxx shopping for me at all from now on.

TKmaxx is great for goods with a good price reduction but customer service and online delivery is terrible and quite unreliable. They never deliver when they say they will and there is always an excuse: either we request for a change of the delivery date when we didn't or the address is incomplete when is not... If you wish to order online either pay for next day delivery or collect it from a store as the delivery service is extremely poor and you won't get much help from customer service unfortunately.

Shops ok just opening times online are wrong opens 9.00 not 8.00 on a saturday

I was in the Doncaster (frenchgate) branch! When I couldn't find what I was looking for I asked a member of staff to help, when I asked the woman for help she was very rude and walked away I believe the staff member was called yana. I then asked another member of staff for help and she gladly did so in a happy and helpful manner if it wasn't for this lady I would not be shopping at TK maxx some of the staff are very rude and need to do there job properly!

Women was very rude at the till. I said hello she just completely ignored me. I heard the same thing happen to the person behind me aswell. No customer service there.
